Mon Char

My Focus finally ended its run. I started having problems with it and it eventually wouldn’t go. It wasn’t getting enough juice. It had to do something with frayed wiring. I brought it to a friend of a friend and he told me the repairs would cost around 2 to 300 hundred dollars. He was able to band aid it with duct tape. The car ran good for about a year and a half but started acting up again. It would lose power after 50 and was worse in warmer weather. I would have to put it in neutral and turn the ignition on and off to give it fire while still rolling. I had to do it quick because if I waited too long the steering wheel would lock up. Not a good situation to be in and I had enough of it.

I went to Eunice and bought a Mustang. I always wanted one and the 5th generation models are great. They have a retro look from the 1st generation Mustangs, 60’s to early 70’s, but with more power and all the latest technology. It’s candy apple red with leather seats. The backseats are basically useless except for storing cargo, but that doesn’t matter much to me and I like the car. I have plenty of power now. Dad had a 1st generation Mustang and he also had a Chevy Chevelle. I wish he would have kept those, especially the Chevelle. That car had a lot of power and I would have a blast with it. If you want to see classic muscle cars in action visit YouTube and look up Bullitt, the classic detective movie with Steve McQueen. He chases a badass black Charger in his green Mustang.
