cornoyo

Il a sorti cornoyo.  He came out with nothing. Zero.  Another word and expression learned from L’Anse Grise. Cornoyo sounds like it looks in English – cor-no-yo.  I bet on three football games and came out cornoyo.  I went to the barre to find love for the weekend but came out cornoyo.  Mais, wait a minute, I did get something from the barre, a mal de tĂȘte.  Ca!  That’s headache but I wonder what hangover is.  Mom gave me the same example that Mr. Dowell gave with cards!  She even asked me why would you call an old person cornoyo?  "It means nothing, zero, not an old person."
