Louis Fontenot dit Colon (Colin) and Fontenot clans

I scooped this from Ancestry.com message boards but I want to mention it here. Not sure about the Colon or Colin name.  I see both names in writings. We were looking for the Fontenot clan names and they are listed in The Fontenot Family 1600-1903: A Genealogical Study of The Descendants of Jean Louis Fontenot dit Colin and Louise Angelique Henry.  Rosie Wells posted the information here.  She knows a lot of history and genealogy and helped Dad with our Guillory and Hébert lines.  And we’re connected to the LaRose Fontenots.
