Landreneau and Deshotels

Dad gave me more information on our Créole heritage.  I’m learning, sharing and getting ready for Créole events coming soon: book releases (by John La Fleur) and reunion (formed by Mardell Sibley).

Francois Landreneau came straight from France and Jacques Deshotels came from Québec.  I still wonder why Landreneau kept the eau in their name and Fonteneau changed to Fontenot.
