I'm interested in our German heritage. You don’t hear much about them. These Germans contributed to the culture of
our area. I lived on Shuff road behind
Weelos in Ville Platte and only vaguely knew how I was related to these German
people. It’s amazing when you look at
history and genealogy. You begin to
really see how absurd tourism culture is in our area of “Acadiana.” That might make no sense at all. I’m tired because it rained all day. I drove a tractor-trailer all day and worked
in the rain. I got soaking wet and it’s
cold. I’m burnt and frozen.
