Matthew interviewed Paw Paw several years ago for a school project. They filmed it in L'Anse Grise where Paw Paw and Maw Maw lived. They're in a nursing home now. Mr. Elbay is the only Paw Paw we know or knew. Mom's Dad, Leo Guillory, died before we were born and Dad's father, Adan Hebert died a long time ago in Ville Platte. We're still looking for someone that has one of those old time recorder players or whatever they're called because Dad had recorded Adan and his Mom Elia in French. They were old school Evangeline Parish people, ones that couldn't speak English except for a few words. Leo Guillory was in WWll too. He served in the Air Force. Paw Paw was in the Army.
Adan Hebert lived in L'Anse Grise, L'Anse Jeansonne, Caney Creek and Ville Platte.
