Don't eat God's crawfish

Happy Mother's Day.  I bought some crawfish yesterday at the Crawfish Corner in Eunice. Very good place. We visited Pine today and talk got around to crawfish stuff. It drifted to crawfish in the yard and how cats would sit by a hole and "fish" for the crawfish. And then Dad told me something new to me. He said you're not to eat that crawfish because that's God's crawfish. And Mom said the same thing. It's something well known around here but I had never heard that. Leave the crawfish in your yard alone because they are special.
